LISTEN: Griz Coach Justin Green Talks Up His Running Backs After Huge Performance
After last week's monstrous performance from the Montana Grizzly running backs and offensive linemen, we had to get Grizzly Running Backs Coach Justin Green on The Daily Drive. We discussed each of the running backs that contributed to the 400 rushing yards against Moorhead State, but it's hard to believe there was room for improvement
"There's more yards out there to be had," said Green. "When you have holes that you can drive a MAC truck through as far as our O-Line opening for opening for us. It was nice being able to get the ball on the safety."
Nick Ostmo: 2000 yards
Nick Ostmo became the 8th Grizzly to surpass 2,000 rushing yards for his career. The Portland native has been a joy to coach for Green.
"It's been great. He's a very unselfish running back," expressed Green. "There's been a lot of running backs that have come through here and this is my first senior in a long time... My hope is for all my guys are able to coach the running back position when they're all said and done and he's that type of, knowing-football type guy in the room."

Eli Gillman
Gillman, like the rest of the room, is unselfish. He doesn't care about numbers. He cares about the team.
"He wants to win football games, and if that means 8 touches or 12 touches or 27 touches he'll do whatever's asked of him."
