2024. Montana State 34, Montana 11

The Cats ran for 326 yards on the Grizzly defense. Tommy Mellott & Adam Jones each scored twice in the Cats' rout of the Griz.

2023. Montana 37, Montana State 7

It was fitting for Montana to score 37 in the win over the Cats in 2023 to win the outright Big Sky title. It was Montana's first conference title since 2009

2022. Montana State 55, Montana 21

The infamous College GameDay version of the Brawl of the Wild. MSU led 31-7 at halftime and ran away with the win. The Cats only threw the ball 10 times, but rushed for a whopping 439 yards.

2021. Montana 29, Montana State 10

Junior Bergen caught a 74-yard touchdown pass on the 2nd play of the game, setting the tone for a big Brawl win. Griz kicker Kevin Macias scored 17 points on 5 field goals and a pair of extra points. Justin Ford scooped and scored.

2019. Montana State 48, Montana 14

We had no clue, but this would be the last Brawl for almost 2 full seasons, thanks to COVID. Cats running back Isaiah Ifanse scored 3 TDs in the win.

2018. Montana State 29, Montana 25

MSU's Logan Jones scored with just over 2 minutes to play to snag the lead. Montana drove to the 1 yardline in 1:57, but had their hopes crushed when Adam Eastwood fumbled a ball at the 1 yardline.

2017. Montana State 31, Montana 23

This was the final game coached by Bob Stitt. 2017 also marked the first Grizzly loss in Bozeman since 2005

2016. Montana State 24, Montana 17

2016 kick-started a 4-game winning streak for MSU. It was the first year since 2012 that the Cats brought home the Great Divide Trophy. Though it was 2016, it felt like 1916. The Cats ran the ball for 368 yards on 62(!) carries. Chris Murray led the team for 142 yards and 2 TDs.

2015. Montana 54, Montana State 35

In the all white uniforms, Montana rolled the Cats in 2015. Brady Gustafson threw for 353 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jamaal Jones received 3 of them.

2014 kick-started a series of (mostly) blowouts in the Brawl of the Wild. MSU turned the ball over 7 times in front of 26,352 people, then a record at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. This was Mick Delaney's final Brawl of the Wild game.
