
Montana Grizzlies Lose Key Coach After 12 Seasons
The Montana Grizzlies Men's Basketball program will be without one of its coaching staples for the past decade, beginning this offseason.
Associate Head Coach Chris Cobb is leaving the University of Montana to join St. Mary's new staff.
The news was broken by Skyline Sports and confirmed by a source with knowledge of the program.
Cobb wrapped up his 12th season with the Grizzlies this past season. He has been with Head Coach Travis DeCuire since DeCuire took the job in 2014.
Cobb has served as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for the last decade.

St. Mary's is under new leadership beginning this offseason. Randy Bennett took the head job at Arizona State after serving as St. Mary's head coach since 2001.
Associate Head Coach Mickey McConnell was elevated to head coach on March 23 and is in the process of filling out his coaching staff. Cobb is the latest addition.
That's coaching, baby.

Cobb's tenure in Missoula comes to an end with three NCAA Tournament appearances, and coming up one game shy this year against Idaho in the Big Sky Title game.
