College sports return to Missoula this month. Fall sports kick off with one football game, soccer's home openers, and the rest of the fall sports teams.

Here is every August home and away game for each Montana Grizzlies team.

Montana Grizzly Football

The 2026 Montana Grizzly Football season kicks off with a week zero matchup against Southern Utah at Washington-Grizzly Stadium on Saturday, August 29, at 7 pm. It is a White Out, so wear your white. Don't be a non-conformist.

Montana Grizzly Soccer

The Grizzlies begin a new era under first-year head coach Stuart Gore with an exhibition and five matches.

• Exhibition vs. Mount Royal (Friday, August 7 at 8 pm)
• vs. Bucknell (Thursday, August 13 at 5 pm)
• @ Seattle U (Thursday, August 20 at 8 pm MT)
• @ Washington (Sunday, August 23 at 3 pm MT)
• vs. Lethbridge (Thursday, August 27 at 5 pm)
• vs. MSU Billings (Sunday, August 30 at 1 pm)

Montana Grizzly Volleyball

Unfortunately, the volleyball team won't play a regular-season home match at Dahlberg Arena until its Big Sky opener against Montana State on Sept. 22. August's home contests are exhibition matches. Or at least non-regular-season games at home until September.

Montana Grizzly Cross Country

The men's and women's cross country teams have their season opener at the MSU Bobcat Twilight on Friday, September 4 in Bozeman.
