This week we are looking at players from 1950-1971. The further back we go the more scarce Montanas are becoming in the NFL. Instead of just one decade, we piled together the 50s and 60s into a gallery below.
There are 10 Montanas who played their last NFL game between 1950 and 1971. This batch of Montanans featured an NFL Hall of Famer, and many small towns were represented. Here's where these Montanan NFLers were born:
- Anaconda (2)
- Helena
- Billings
- Jordan
- Fort Peck
- Roundtop
- Red Lodge
- Dillon
- Great Falls
Good for Anaconda to get some representation on the list. As for colleges and universities, Montana and Montana State were seen only once each on this list. Stanford and Washington State led the way with two players each.

- Washington Redskins (3)
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Oakland Raiders (2)
- New York Jets
- Denver Broncos (2)
- Green Bay Packers
This batch has NFL champs, pro bowlers and a Hall of Famer. Without further ado, here are the 10 Montanans to play their final NFL snaps in the 50s or 60s.
