Horn was a guest on Friday's Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein to share how he got into motivational speaking and giving back to the Native American community.
"During the end of my football career," began Horn. "I had a counselor because I knew football was gonna end and I knew it was gonna be rough because I've seen it be rough for so many people. We identify this sport as being us and us being that sport, but I really talked with my counselor and he goes 'You're so much more than football. You're a father now. You're a husband now. You're a son. You're so many different things.'"
Post football Horn began thinking of all the individuals who helped him become an All-American at the University of Montana or an NFL product, and Horn decided he wanted to be one of those people to help other people succeed at what they do. Specifically, he wanted to help Native youth.
The former All-Big Sky performer will share his message this Saturday at 12:30 in the West Auxiliary Gym at the Adams Center.
"The overall meaning is being able to dream. There are so many times where our youth, our people don't allow themselves to dream. And when you don't do that you cut yourself off."

Horn was one of those individuals who curbed their ability to dream. He nearly stepped away from playing football at a high level, but worked through it and gave his dream a shot. Satruday's presentation of his free speech "Medicine Game" will unveil how Horn tackled obstacles and pursued his dream.
