After the Montana Lady Griz coaching staff lost three assistants earlier this year in Joslyn Tinkle, Lindsey Foster and Tiffany Stubbs, Head Coach Brian Holsinger needed to do some scouting for a new staff.

He found one earlier this week in Emma List from the University of San Diego.

"When you hear that from someone you respect and care about, it piqued my interest," Holsinger told gogriz.com. "Then I got to know her. More than anything, she has a contagious personality. Great energy, super positive."

The formal introduction of Coach List came on June 10. Though there's been no formal introduction on the next hiree, multiple outlets including Skyline Sports and KPAX have reported former Montana Western Head Coach and Missoula native Lindsay Woolley will join the Lady Griz Staff next year.

After the reports, I  confirmed the hiring with a source close to the program.

Woolley led Montana Western to its first NAIA National Championship in 2019. Last year, Woolley joined the Utah State Women's Basketball team as an assistant and recruiting coordinator. Woolley attended Big Sky High School and graduated from the University of Montana in 2004.
