An Update On Griz Football's Indoor Facility... It's Coming Along

Clearly, I am having the itch for some football. I recently constructed a gallery of the 2023 Griz Football season through some incredible photos taken by the University photographer. Check it out below

We still need to wait a few months for the season opener VS Missouri State (August 31 at Washington-Grizzly Stadium), but we have a fun update from the Griz Football team. The new indoor facility has the field installed and the dome itself is impending.

But it wasn't the smoothest of construction projects. MTN Sports reported in December 2023 that weather and permit changes delayed the building.

By the looks of it, it's nearing its completion. Or at least taking a step in the right direction.

Per the University's article from last year, the project cost 10.2 million dollars. The funding stemmed from private sources, so "no student tuition or Montana taxpayer dollars are being spent on the project."

I'm looking forward to visiting this fall.
