Which Montana Hospitals Make the Grade: Spring 2024 Rankings

The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit organization that provides safety grades for hospitals, has come out with its latest rankings of hospitals, including those in Montana.

As with rankings in the past, several metrics are significant to the quality of care at hospitals. Specifically, the safety grades look at:

• Infections
• Problems with Surgery
• Safety Problems
• Practices to Prevent Errors
• Doctors, Nurses & Hospital Staff

The latest data for Spring, 2024 is included below. Many rankings stayed the same but a hospital that previously ranked at "A" is now ranked at "B" and a hospital that previously ranked at "B" is now ranked at "C."
