Bud Light Creates Special College Football Cans… Where’s Montana?

Hey Bud Light, what's the big idea here? You make a bunch of special college football-themed cans and leave out the University of Montana, but include Eastern Washington?

If you don't know, Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light jumped on the college football kickoff train by creating 26 specialty cans. Some schools are larger brands like Kansas University, University of Texas, University of Florida, LSU, University of Kentucky and more. But then there are some more obscure schools like Eastern, East Carolina University and UTEP.

Why is Eastern getting a special Bud Light can and not Montana? Am I salty? Yeah, a little bit. I don't know why I'm getting worked up either, because I don't even like Bud Light. If I'm drinking a light domestic, I'm drinking a Coors Light. Heck, I'd even go Busch Light.

Part of the reason why UM didn't receive a special Bud Light is their relationship with Molson Coors. At concerts and other events, the University sells Coors products, so I'm sure Bud Light wanted to keep it to their own schools. I'm bummed but I get it.

Maybe Coors Light can make a special Griz can. The ball's in your court, Coors.
