If you are one of the lucky few who is able to secure a Grizzly tailgating spot, then first off, count your blessings.

Those are tough to come by, and you will typically wait years before earning a tailgating parking spot.

Here are my suggestions for what you need to elevate your tailgate to elite status.

A Kick-A$$ Griz Mobile

This one can be a spendy "must," because you'll have to purchase a bus or RV or some other significantly sized vehicle.

A Griz Bus will show that you mean BUSINESS. Take Grizzly Dad Chad Opitz, for example.

The Opitz and Buehler families mean BUSINESS.

The Right Playlist

Every good tailgate needs good music. You need to crank the tunes and bring the high-octane vibes.

I like a good mix of genres, too. Keep the crowds on their toes.

Here are a few song recommendations for a Griz tailgate.

  • Mountain Time by Ian Munsick
  • Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex
  • Thunderstruck by AC/DC
  • Sundress by A$AP Rocky
  • Blue Sky by Allman Brothers Band

Food... Bring Lots of Food (and drinks)

I'm partial to wings and chips, and queso.

I will, however, eat anything you present me.

As for drinks?

Well, I'm not picky about drinks either, but you need to load the cooler up with beer.

That's it. Those are my musts for tailgating.

  • A sweet vessel
  • A variety of songs
  • Great food and drinks
