Montana has had a presence in the UFC world over the last few years thanks to Helena's Suga Sean O'Malley.

O'Malley has headlined multiple UFC events, and now one of his trainees, also from Montana, is making waves in the UFC.

 Meet Tommy McMillen

Tommy McMillen, fighting out of Great Falls, Montana, is turning heads in the UFC. McMillen is undefeated (9-0-0) in his professional ultimate fighting career.

Most recently, McMillen defeated David Mgoyan in a "slobberknocker" on the September 2 episode of Dana White's Contender Series, a series that awards up-and-coming fighters contracts to the UFC.

The win earned him a UFC opportunity and a trip to the hospital.

"First of all, both of these guys [McMillen and Mgoyan], right now, are where they should be. They're in the hospital. That's how badass this fight was," said Dana White via UFC.com.

UFC head honcho Dana White saw enough and gave McMillen a UFC contract.

McMillen's epic triumph over Mgoyan got him into the dance, and he was, as White put it, "getting his ass kicked in the first round."

What. A. Showing.

It was a grueling battle that had my friends from back home texting me, "Holy $*** he fought an insane war and got the win. Even had Dana giving him a standing ovation."
