Basketball season is fast approaching. College basketball teams begin exhibitions and scrimmages now and kick off the regular season in early November. The NBA begins in late October and the WNBA is in the finals as we speak, err, type. Basketball is in full force, my friends.

The Montana Grizzlies Men's Basketball team is coming off a 24-win season and a postseason appearance in the College Basketball Invitation, where the Griz scored a win vs Presbyterian. Unfortunately, the Griz were playing in the CBI instead of March Madness after a disappointing end in Boise, Idaho at the Big Sky Conference Tournament.

The Griz are back with a balance of explosive youth and steady experience. Sophomore Money Williams will enter the season healthy and look to take the Big Sky by storm. Super Senior Brandon Whitney is back for his final year of eligibility. Whitney is 12th in program history with 1,296 points and 350 assists and has played a whopping 122 games. Along with Whitney, Senior Te'Jon Sawyer is back for his second season.

The season begins with an exhibition on October 22nd against Saint Martin's and officially kicks off on November 4th. Nonconference games are highlighted with trips to Eugene, Oregon, Knoxville, Tennessee, Logan, Utah and a home tournament to honor Stew Morrill.

Below, I constructed a gallery of the Griz schedule. Some of these photos are tongue-in-cheek and some are just flat-out goofy, but here are the Grizzlies 2024-2025 men's basketball opponents.
