Pop the cork and celebrate the return of an awesome event to the UM campus!

After a three-year absence, the University of Montana Grizzly Scholarship Association and Summit Beverage  are excited to announce the return of the 15th annual Montana Wine and Beer Festival. The "social event of the year" will take place Friday, October 14, from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m., in the Adams Center on the UM campus. The festival is always scheduled the evening before a Griz home football game, in this case Idaho on October 15.

Put a splash of fine wine or beer in your souvenir glass from from any of the large number of vendors. Then rinse and repeat. And do NOT have dinner before coming to the festival! You are sure to find something you love from the fantastic food sample tables, courtesy of Albertson's-Safeway and University of Montana Catering.

There are also several Montana artists in attendance, displaying and selling their artwork. Plus, many silent auction items consisting of limited edition originals and and a variety of wine and beer items. And naturally, it wouldn't be a Griz fundraiser without Grizzly memorabilia up for auction, too.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Grizzly Scholarship Association and their mission to provide scholarships for student athletes. The facilities team does an awesome job transforming Dahlberg Arena into an inviting atmosphere worthy of such a cool event.

Attendees must be 21 or older. Tickets are on sale now for $75 each. We are still just over a month away, but this event has sold out a number of time. Tickets are available at the Grizzly Scholarship Association Office in the Adams Center. A special website has also been set up to so you can order tickets online.

Up With Montana! And here's to the exciting return of the Montana Beer and Wine Festival.
