Former Montana Grizzlies Head Coach Bob Stitt was introduced as the offensive coordinator at high school powerhouse Valor Christian in Colorado a year ago this month.

Now, Stitt is back on the move. This time, the Nebraska native is moving back into the college football stratosphere at Stitt's old stomping grounds at Colorado School of Mines.

The story was confirmed and distributed by the school's athletics department.

Stitt was the Orediggers head coach from 2000-2014 where he accumulated a 198-62 record with three Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championships (2004, 2010, 2014). His 108 victories put him at the top of the coaching tree at the School of Mines.

During his time in Montana, Stitt coached three seasons going 21-14 overall with one playoff appearance in 2015.

In total, Stitt has racked up 129 wins as a head coach between his two stops in Colorado and Montana.

As offensive coordinator at Valor Christian, Stitt assisted the Eagles to a 5A Colorado state championship game appearance. Unfortunately, Valor Christian came up just short losing to Cherry Creek.

Stitt's second tenure begins at West Texas A&M on September 4th.
