Outfielder Adam Fogel named Independent Player of the Year
Baseball America named outfielder Adam Fogel their Independent and Partner League Player of the Year for 2024. Per the Paddleheads press release, it's the first time ever a Pioneer Baseball League player received the honor.
"Baseball America is a prestigious baseball outlet and has been for many years," Schlact said via the press release. "Out of all the independent professional baseball players out there, for them to recognize Adam like this is a huge honor for him and the organization."
Fogel turned heads in 2024. The Southern California native set a PBL record with 35 home runs and added 115 RBI for the regular season's best team. It was Fogel's first season in the PBR after spending time with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in the MLB Draft League a summer before.
Congrats to Schlact and Fogel for the deserved recognition.
