One of the sexiest parts of a Montana girl is that they don't always want to be treated like a princess. They like to get their hands dirty and play outside. Not to mention they are not afraid to "cuss like sailors" and outfish any man who wants to challenge them.

Fly fishing has become increasingly popular among the email demographic for years. It seems that a once "manly" activity is on pace to be overrun by the ladies. And they are loving every minute of it.

According to a 2017 article from the New York Times

Industry leaders say women are the only growing demographic in the sport, which is why they are so crucial to cultivate. Women make up about 31 percent of the 6.5 million Americans who fly-fish, according to the most recent study by the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation. In 2016, more than two million women participated in the sport, an increase of about 142,000 from the previous year.

With Missoula being the Mecca of fly fishing, it is no surprise that we see a lot of women on the water. Just taking a stroll through the women's clothing section at Bob Wards and you can clearly see that a lot of fishing industry brands are targeting female anglers.

Have you ever been among a group of female anglers? It is some of the most entertaining banter you will ever hear on the water, with conversations ranging from "the one that got away" to how bad they have to pee. An awesome video has surfaced online showing "S#!t Fly Fishing Gals Say" featuring local fly fishing guides and all-around badass babes.
