NFL Preseason Week 2: A Griz Helps A Bobcat
"A Griz helps a Bobcat" isn't a statement you read often, but that happened in NFL Preseason Week 2. The Seattle Seahawks battled the Tennessee Titans and it was a full-blown Griz reunion leading up to the game. Current Seahawk Patrick O'Connell, former Titan Marc Mariani and current Titans Special Teams Coordinator Colt Anderson were able to meet up before the game.
What a cool shot for Griz fans. O'Connell had a nice showing against the Titans this weekend, especially in pass coverage. The former Griz Linebacker's underneath coverage led to a high throw and an interception for former Montana State Bobcat Ty Okada.
It's possible for a Griz & a Cat to work together. Who knew? O'Connell has been turning heads when it comes to pass coverage this preseason.
O'Connell finished the Titans game with 7 total tackles.
Alex Gubner, Kansas City Chiefs
Gubner appeared in the Chiefs' second preseason game against the Detroit Lions, but didn't record any stats.

Dylan Cook, Pittsburgh Steelers
Cook made his second consecutive preseason appearance this year for the Steelers in losing against the Buffalo Bills. Steelers Depot predicted Pittsburgh's 53-man roster and selected Cook to make it. Talking about injuries, Steelers Depot said "It also makes Cook a little more valuable." Things are trending up for the former Griz to make his first NFL regular season appearance.
Samori Toure, Green Bay Packers
Take it with a grain of salt, because the Packers looked atrocious against Denver on Sunday night, but Samori Toure was the 3rd highest-rated offensive Packers player according to Pro Football Focus. Toure hauled in 2 receptions for 17 yards.
