The Montana Grizzlies are 3-0 with home wins over Southern Utah, Drake, and Utah Tech. Despite the perfect record, there seem to be mixed feelings about how the Griz are playing.

So we asked our listeners what they've thought of Montana's 3-0 start. Here are some of my favorite lines and findings.

What do Griz fans think of Montana's 3-0 start?

It was definitely a mixed bag. There were some positive reactions, some negative ones, and a lot that said something along the lines of: "We're happy to be 3-0, but don't look amazing."

Like Logan P, who said, "3-0 never looked so... mediocre. HOWEVER, the Griz got off to a slow start back in 2023 when they made it to the chipper so I still have faith in the Griz getting better."

Montana had an early-season loss against a heavy underdog, Northern Arizona in 2023. After that, the Grizzlies didn't lose until the National Championship game. Good point, Logan.

Mindy provided some solid context, saying, "We lost 40 players from last year, a bunch of them starters. I think we're doing pretty well with a new coach, new system, and 40 new players. Trying to be objective here."

Larry echoed that same sentiment: "I feel like we have as much talent as ever but a new coach and a new system take time. I think in a year or two we will be deep. At worst we end up 3rd or 4th in the big sky but if we get a few breaks maybe 2nd."

I like the way Mark put it: "Good, then sloppy, then good.

That feels like a lot of football teams in August and September.

James W says, "3-0. That's pretty good in my house! Go Griz!"
I can't argue with that, James.
And how about Scott, who says, "The next 2 weeks will tell us everything we need to know."
I also can't argue with that, Scott. Oregon State and UC Davis will be real tests.
Here are the thoughts Riley Corcoran, the Voice of the Griz, and I had on last weekend's win.
