Former Griz Star Takes on ‘Dancing With the Stars’—Missoula Style
Missoula is putting its own spin on the popular TV show Dancing with the Stars this Saturday, April 11, at the Wilma Theater beginning at 6:30 pm. Dancing With Arts Missoula Stars features eight teams consisting of one local celebrity and one dancing professional.
The celebs include a couple of GMs, a wine rep with Summit Beverage, a musician, an actor, a nurse practitioner, a bartender, and my guy, former Griz Football player Levi Janacaro.
"My dancing skills are subpar," said Janacaro on The Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein. "But man, am I enthusiastic. I watched the last season of Dancing with the Stars, the legit one, I'd never watched it. Some of those people can dance, but the ones that get all the fanfare are the people that are smiling the whole time."
So Janacaro says he's making up for a lack of skill with smiles.
Solid plan, Levi — solid plan.

Whether Janacaro wins or not is beside the point — Dancing with Arts Missoula Stars is all about raising money for Arts Missoula.

Arts Missoula's goal is $55,000. As I'm writing this, the event has raised $21,100. When you purchase tickets, your purchase can go towards a team's amount, and Janacaro's team is winning the fundraising battle so far at $4,200.
"If you buy your tickets, there's a link to where the proceeds will go to our team," said Janacaro.
