New Sports Show "The Daily Drive" Coming To KGRZ

Let's. Go. We are stoked to announce our sports station KGRZ is rebranding with a new logo, a new Monday-Friday sports talk show and a whole lot more Montana Grizzlies content.

Our graphics team did an awesome job of rebranding the new KGRZ logo to align closer with the University of Montana. I mean, we are so Griz we have the actual Griz script logo as a part of our station logo.

We're holding off on revealing the clear version of the logo until later, so stay tuned to the KGRZ Facebook page and mobile app.

The Daily Drive With Ace Sauerwein

Beginning on Monday, August 19th, The Daily Drive With Ace Sauerwein goes live at 5 pm Mountain time on KGRZ. The Daily Drive features the biggest names in the University of Montana Athletics Department. We'll have Griz Football Head Coach Bobby Hauck and Voice of the Griz Riley Corcoran on the debut show. Former Griz great Sammy Akem, Griz Soccer Head Coach Chris Citowicki, Griz Basketball and Lady Griz Basketball Head Coaches Travis DeCuire and Brian Holsinger (just to name a few) will make appearances through the season.

The show airs from 5-6 pm Monday-Friday but will be available on-demand through the KGRZ mobile app and wherever you get your podcasts.

That KGRZ mobile app will be your go-to source for all audio and written content regarding the Griz.

Montana Athletic Director Kent Haslem chimed in on the University's press release.

"We are excited to extend our relationship with Townsquare Media to bring Griz fans even more coverage of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs," said director of athletics Kent Haslam. "Townsquare and KGVO have been great partners for many years, and expanding our presence with daily coverage on KGRIZ will truly give us some of the best and most in-depth content in the FCS."

I can't give you a quote quite as eloquent and polished as Kent's, but what I can say is I am pumped up to get the show rolling on Monday.
