Grizzly Football In The National Spotlight: Montana Slated For 2 National Televised Games
This is a double-edged sword of a story if you ask me.
On one hand, the Montana Grizzlies will get national exposure. It will help get eyeballs on the University of Montana. Typically, that will help enrollment and blah blah blah all that good stuff.
On the other hand, it turns into a long night whenever the Griz are featured on national television. Game times usually won't start until after 9 pm, so it's not the best time to watch a game, especially if you're an old soul like me.
Montana Grizzlies Football scheduled for 2 ESPN games
Montana will get 2 nationally televised games this season.
Montana will host Idaho on Saturday, September 27 at a time announced later. The game will be aired on an ESPN channel, but it hasn't been announced which one yet. A good guess is ESPN 2.
Then the Grizzlies will travel to Sacramento on Friday, October 24 against the Sacramento State Hornets. Griz-Hornets will air on ESPN 2 beginning at 8:30 Mountain Time.

It's worth noting that the Hornets game is on a Friday. It's a shorter week for the Griz to prepare for Sacramento State, but the good news is the Griz will be coming off a non-conference home game against Sacred Heart.
