FanDuel Says Montana Grizzlies Are Little Brothers Of The State

This surely will piss some Griz fans off and have Cats fans saying "Oh, look at the Griz fans crying like babies again."

It's just science.

FanDuel put together this promotion for Super Bowl LIX that involved Peyton and Eli Manning kicking a field goal. It was a part of their Kick of Destiny series, which if I'm being frank I don't know what that entails and I don't really care.

Anyway, coinciding with the Manning Kick of Destiny FanDuel released a map of "College Football Little Brother Programs."

And, uh oh, the Montana Grizzlies were the Treasure State's little bro...

The argument AGAINST Montana as "Little Brother"

Montana leads the all-time series 79-43-5. I mean, if that's not damming on who the little brother is then I don't know what else is.

How about Division 1 National Championships? Advantage: Montana. The Grizzlies have 2, and MSU has just 1 (more on this later).

The argument FOR Montana as "Little Brother"

If you were born in 2013 then I can understand thinking the Grizzlies are little bros. Since 2016, Montana State has won 6 of 8 games over the Grizzlies.

Touche, I will surrender that point. Recency bias favors the Cats, no doubt.

How about overall National Championships? Advantage: Montana State.

Note: The Cats have an NAIA title (1956) and a Division II 'ship (1976) on top of their lone FCS title (1984).

I recognize my bias as I work for the sports, but to call the Grizzlies "little brother" is something a 12-year-old with no prior Brawl of the Wild knowledge would say.

I can't wait for Cats fans to chime in to tell me "Oh hErE's AnOtHeR bAbY gRiZ fAn cOmPlAiNiNg."
