The Daily Drive With Ace Sauerwein WIns E.B. Craney Award

Last summer changed my career.

Amidst contract negotiations between Townsquare Media (owner of KGRZ AM/FM) and Grizzly Sports Properties (University of Montana's Learfield branch), The Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein became a reality.

A daily sports talk show that features Montana Grizzlies content, primarily, was born, and less than a year later, we're seeing the hard work pay off.

KGRZ Daily Drive With Ace Sauerwein Wins Radio Program of the Year

The Daily Drive was named the 2025 E.B. Craney Award Winner for "Best Radio Program of the Year" at last weekend's Craney Award ceremony in Great Falls.

I have so many people to thank for The Daily Drive becoming a reality and an award-winning program.

Scott Richman, General Manager at Townsquare Missoula. He led the talks with GSP and was in my corner every step of the way.
Kyle Krueger, General Manager at Grizzly Sports Properties. My other boss... also in my corner every step of the way.
The Voice of the Griz Riley Corocoran. My co-host helped the Daily Drive reach the high levels it has. He's the best radio personality in the state.
Griz MBB/VB/Track SID (and movies expert) (and Team Name Game Open Champ) Jackson Wagner. He's been on the show the most out of anybody not named Ace or Riley, and he does it for the love of the game. Mad respect.

On top of winning Show of the Year, I was lucky enough to take home Radio Play-by-Play Announcer of the Year & Radio Sportscaster of the Year.
