Brantley Gilbert Talks Music, Tattoos, And College Football On The Daily Drive

On Wednesday's edition of The Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein, country music singer Brantley Gilbert called into the show to promote his upcoming show at Adams Center in Missoula on Friday, February 28.

Brantley Gilbert's Tattoos

Gilbert has a boatload of tattoos. He's covered in them.

I read prior to our interview that Gilbert got a Georgia Bulldogs tattoo after they won the 2022 National Championship over archrival Alabama. He has a Bulldogs tattoo, but it wasn't clear if he got it after that game.

"I got a Georgia themed tattoo somewhere around that time," said Brantley. "Yeah it was gonna happen anyway. Yeah, I got the picture of, I don't know if you remember when our mascot Uga tried to take a bite out of an Auburn player. I got that tattooed in the state of Georgia on my right arm, so that was pretty neat."

Brantley Gilbert Respects(?) Albama

The other noteworthy quote from out interview was Gilbert actually respects Alabama Crimson Tide Football.

"To be honest with you, even being a Georgia guy, I was always a fan of that program [Alabama]. I like good football and they were obviously doing a lot right."

Brantley, you're a bigger man than me. I can't stand Ohio State, who beat up on my Wisconsin Badgers, nor can I stand the San Francisco 49ers, who caused heartbreak after heartbreak for my Green Bay Packers.
