We're down to two games left in the Big Sky Conference Regular season and they are a pair of MASSIVE games for both the Montana Grizzlies Men's Basketball team and the Montana Lady Griz.

Montana Grizzlies Pursuit of a title

Now that Coach Travis DeCuire set the record for most wins all time at UM, all we have to focus on is winning a Big Sky title. With two games to go, Montana has a one-game lead over Northern Colorado for the crown and the 1 seed in Starch Madness (Big Sky Conference Tournament).

If Montana wins out they'll be champs. It will be their 13th regular season championship and their 6th since 2011. The only team that can catch them is Northern Colorado. The Bears are on the road against Northern Arizona and Weber State, two of the bottom three teams.

If Montana doesn't win out, it will come down to tiebreakers. Montana and Northern Colorado each beat each other once. Then it goes to the team's records against 3rd place (Portland State -as of now). Then 4th place and so on and so forth.

We won't dive that deep until we know what happens after Saturday's round of games.

The Griz are at home VS Eastern Washington at 9 PM on Monday night.

Lady Griz avoiding to stay out of the bottom 4

The Lady Griz secured a big win last night at home to snap a 4-game losing streak. Montana is tied for 5th place with Idaho State at 6-9.

Currently in the 6th seed, they can lock up a seed to avoid the bottom 4 seeds by winning out. Even if the Lady Griz can muster a 1-1 record they'd be in alright shape. Currently up one game on Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington.
