1) Soccer Wins The Big Sky
Grizzly Soccer finally got over the Big Sky Conference Tournament hump with a shootout victory over Weber State on November 9. In front of a jam-packed South Campus Stadium with more than 2,220 people, the Griz won an epic title game 0-0 (4-2 PK). Two of the shootout goals included Chloe Seelhoff, with a broken collarbone, and goalkeeper Ashlyn Dvorak. THEE best moment of 2025.

2) Men's Basketball Wins Big Sky
The Montana Grizzlies Men's Basketball Team punched their ticket to the Big Dance on March 12, 2025. The Griz defeated top-seeded Northern Colorado to advance to their first tournament for the first time since 2019. It was an epic win and an epic celebration that night in Boise. Perhaps too big of a celebration for yours truly...

3) Grizzly Men's Tennis Wins Big Sky
The Grizzly Men's Tennis team pulled off the upset of Northern Arizona at the Big Sky Conference Championship on April 26, 2025. The 3-seeded Grizzlies advanced to the NCAA Tournament for just the 2nd time in program history.

4) March Madness vs. Wisconsin
Despite losing in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, the Grizzly Men's Basketball March Madness game makes the list. Anytime a small mid-major team plays in March is a reason to celebrate. It was such a big day for all the Griz players, coaches, admin, and fans who got to attend in Denver. It was a lot of fun for me, too, as a childhood Badgers fan.

5) Grizzly Football Dominates Idaho
Under the lights on national television, the Grizzly Football team decimated the region rival Idaho Vandals 41-30. I know the losses against the Cats hurt, but the Griz started the year 11-0 and won the Little Brown Stein in front of a ruckus crowd.

6) Lady Griz Upset Northern Arizona
The Montana Lady Griz had a rollercoaster 2024-2025 season. It saw two different head coaches, some epic wins, and heartbreaking losses. The semifinal upset over Northern Arizona was the best win of the year. NAU demolished Montana just a few weeks prior in Missoula, but Montana, under interim Head Coach Nate Harris, pulled off the upset of the tournament.

7) Griz Volleyball Wins 10 In A Row
The Grizzly Volleyball team won 10 straight matches, which was the longest of the century and the 5th longest streak in program history. The Griz won 17 matches on the season - the most since 2022.
