The Montana Grizzlies throttled the Moorhead State Eagles on Saturday 59-2. Moorhead State scored their lone points on a blocked extra point returned for two the other way. It was a stellar day, but you just know that Coach Bobby Hauck nearly keeled over watching his shutout disappear on a blocked extra point.

Still, it was a great day at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. It may have given us the shot of the season too.

That is one of the best images I've seen. It deserves a huge round of applause for Elias Snyders, the photographer. Well done. The game's action caught the eye of a well-known on-air NFL Network personality. Kyle Brandt, co-host of NFL Network's Good Morning Football, is most known for his Angry Runs segment. Here's a taste of the revved-up segment.

Brandt caught a whiff of Montana's domination on Saturday and shouted out Griz star Eli Gillman for this ANGRY RUN!!!

Let's go! Gillman's angry run gets some love from the angry run guy himself. Much deserved. I mean, Eli took the life of the first linebacker trying to make the tackle (WAPOW) and then proceeded to drag three Eagles into the endzone (BABOOM).

Gillman finished his afternoon with 106 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 8 carries. The Grizzlies as a team ran the ball 55 times for 410 yards and 7 touchdowns... SEVEN!

It was a hell of a day, boys. Western Carolina is up next. The Catamounts travel to Missoula this Saturday for a 1 pm kickoff.
