If you live in Montana, you have plenty of choices to get a good cup of coffee. There are standalone locations and huts to grab something to perk your day up daily. Whether you prefer franchises like Starbucks or locally owned spots, coffee doesn't discriminate.
There are a few coffee franchises in Montana that locals love, like City Brew, but some folks would love to see some chains come to Big Sky Country.
A popular chain of coffee shops in the Pacific Northwest has been adding locations by the hundreds over the past few years, and Montana might finally be on their radar.
The Oregon-based coffee chain Dutch Bros. is immensely successful because of its quality coffee, quick service, and long hours.
Many Montanans have been clamoring for Dutch Bros. to come to Big Sky Country, and we might have good news on that front.
CSA reports Dutch Bros. plans to open over 150 new locations in 2024 and more in 2025. They are adding locations in two specific areas, the Southeast and the Rocky Mountains.
Dutch Bros. has locations in Utah, Colorado, and Idaho. It would make sense they would want to add a spot or two in Montana. Montana has several growing markets and college towns that would be perfect for this chain.
Dutch Bros. only needs a space for cars to drive through and get their coffee. Bozeman, Missoula, Helena, and Billings are all prime candidates.
Only time will tell which city Dutch Bros. will come to first.
