The Brawl of the Wild is the titular matchup between Motnana's two premier college football teams, the Montana State Bobcats and the University of Montana Grizzlies.

The two powerhouses in FCS football have families and houses divided during the fall season.

People take this rivalry seriously.

It's massive bragging rights for a whole year.

The game host rotates every year. This way, not one team has a distinct advantage over the other.

The games are electric and can't-miss events.

Did you know the Brawl of the Wild used to happen at a neutral site for almost twenty-five years?

Where was the Brawl of the Wild held? The answer makes a lot of sense.

Butte hosted the Brawl of the Wild from 1926 until 1950.

The game was a massive party. Each college held separate parades and celebrations leading up to the game.

A stadium filled with half Bobcat and half Griz fans sounds like pure anarchy.

Why did it stop? The growing attendance of fans became too much and the schools decided to host in their respective cities.

That makes sense.

The Brawl of the Wild draws over 25,000 fans yearly and needs a stadium to hold that attendance.

Would you like to see the Brawl of the Wild held at a neutral stadium again one day, or should it stay the same? We enjoy the back-and-forth between Missoula and Bozeman.
