This Beautiful Montana Town Is Named The Coolest In The State
As you drive through Montana you will go through a ton of really cool towns. Towns that hold their own piece of history, have a café with a caramel roll that is to die for, and some of the most picturesque mountain views.
In the back of our minds, we all have that one town that we consider to be the coolest or at least one of the coolest. The Discoverer has named the coolest towns in each state and I will hands down agree with their selection for Montana.
The Discoverer names Livingston, MT the coolest town in the whole state.
Livingston is one of those Montana towns where you still get the feel of the "old western" Montana you often see in Western movies. The architecture of the buildings, the hardware store where they will make something for you if they don't carry the part, and old-fashioned candy in numerous stores.
Not to mention that Livingston is home to one of the best burger joints of all time. Mark's In and Out Burger. Mark's will be celebrating 70 years of business this year and the community couldn't be more excited for them.
You can find some really wonderful shops in Livingston.
The views through the pass as you head to Livingston are flawless. I will note that the wind in Livingston is no joke. Often closing snow-covered roads during the winter, the gusts of wind can get up to 50+ miles per hour.
With as much beauty as Livingston holds, it is definitely not for the weak.
