Would You Ruin Christmas For A National Championship?
How are you doing, Griz fans? Saturday was as rough as it gets for Montana Grizzlies fans. The Griz had a chance to punch their ticket to the FCS National Championship in Bozeman against the hated rival Montana State Bobcats.
Unfortunately, it was the Cats running by the Griz to Nashville, where they will play Illinois State for the title on January 5. I won't lie, the drive back to Missoula on Saturday and all of Sunday, my mood was literally dampened by the Grizzlies' loss. That and the Green Bay Packers losing to their hated rival Chicago Bears.
Pain. It's all pain.
Would you sacrifice Christmas in order for the Griz to defeat Montana State last weekend? Hard Rock Bet asked 2,000 people "Would you tell a related child that Santa isn't real if it guaranteed your favorite team a championship?"

Is that even a question? Of course, I would tell a child that Santa isn't real to guarantee a championship. Hell, if I could say to a bunch of kids that all of my teams would win a tournament, I would do it. I'd spoil the Santa surprise for the Montana Grizzlies, the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Wisconsin Badgers to win a title.
Of the 2,000 people that Hard Rock polled, 60% of people said no, and 26% said yes. There were 13% of people who said they weren't a fan of sports.

I think it's insane that 60% of people would rather save the secret about Santa over a championship for their favorite team. I would have ratted the secret out in a second.
But hey, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
