The good news is Missoula is not featured in USA Today's Top 10 Best Ski Towns in North America vote, so you don't have to text me or email me saying, "Hey, idiot, don't tell people how great Missoula is because more people will visit and disrupt our way of living." I know how defensive you all are when it comes to promoting our state and welcoming outsiders in.

Anyway, USA Today is holding a vote for the best ski towns in America and Canada. It's no surprise that one Montana city appeared on the list, and it's no surprise, to me at least, that it's Bozeman.

With a nostalgic vibe and views of the Rockies around every corner, a visit to Bozeman can make you feel as if you've stepped into a Western film.  - USA Today

Bozeman is such a great city. I agree all the outside visitors should definitely visit Bozeman or Big Sky and definitely not Missoula.

See what I did there?

You can vote once a day through Monday, Nov 11 on Bozeman as the best ski town.

Best ski towns in America

Bozeman is up against a murderer's row of ski towns. It has to go up against Colorado, Utah, Alberta, Canada, and Idaho, but I have a few question marks. Lutsen, Minnesota is on the list and don't get me wrong I love Lutsen and the Duluth area but comparing Lutsen to Vail, Breckenridge, Bozeman or Banff seems asinine to me. There are a couple of candidates in the northeast that I'm unsure should be.

Here's the full list.
