Exciting Saturdays Ahead for Your Western Montana Bowling Kids
When my son was just a little guy, one of the highlights of the week was his Saturday morning bowling league.
He got to socialize with new friends and participate in a fun activity. And hey, if he rolled a good game or two, that was just a bonus.
Bowling is one of the most popular participation activities, with over 68 million Americans bowling each year. And it's a huge favorite among kids age 5-18, with nearly half that age group bowls at least once each year.
And while they don't have to be in a league to enjoy bowling, the comradery, fun competition and very helpful coaching from staff members can all enhance their experience.
YOUTH BOWLING SIGNUP DAY SATURDAY
Westside Lanes and Fun Center in Missoula is hosting their youth bowling signup day this Saturday, September 14. Youth bowling leagues are held Saturdays starting at 10:00 a.m., beginning September 28. The leagues are United States Bowling Congress sanctioned, and available for kids aged 3-18, with different levels of play depending on age group and skill levels.
Westside's bowling coaches will teach your child the basics of bowling, a lifetime sport that provides over $3 million in scholarship money to graduation high school students each year. Many bowling scholarships are based on participation and not solely on talent. And best of all, no one rides the bench in bowling!
If you can't make it to Westside Lanes this Saturday to get your kids signed up, just give them a call and they will fill you in on the details. 406-721-5263.
Here's to lots of strikes and lots of smiles!
