Be Free: Clothing Optional Nights at This Montana Hot Spot
Have you ever gone skinny dipping?
I'm prone to get mosquito bites and bee stings, or accidentally rubbing up against Poison Ivy so I like to keep my more sensitive parts covered up. I have visited Boulder Hot Springs which has several pools, including a co-ed outdoor pool, and men's and women's indoor pools. In the women-only pools, clothing was optional. Even indoors, I didn't feel inclined, but you do you.
Nudity in Montana
Montana, it turns out, is pretty welcoming compared to other states when it comes to being topless or going nude. It may take some looking to find nude-friendly spots, but you’ll find some. Here's a tip, check out the nude beach at the Blackfoot River.
Even if you aren’t a nudist, sometimes you want to be free. I've got a friend who's been visiting Lolo Hot Springs for years and says that on Sunday nights, the clothes tend to disappear. It may not have always been "official" but it is now.
Lolo Hot Springs, Summer 2024
Lolo Hot Springs in Lolo, Montana is offering clothing-optional nights: not one, but two nights this summer—and not a single event—but weekly. On Wednesdays and Sundays from 9:00 PM to midnight, you can swim in the Hot Springs with or without clothes. This of course is for those 21 and over.
Appropriately, they've dubbed these nights as "Back to Nature" on their website.
