It seems like it is a holiday tradition the past few years that either Reggie Watts or Chris Fairbanks or both have played Montana close to the holidays.
Both Reggie Watts and Chris Fairbanks grew up in Montana. Reggie in Great Falls and Chris in Missoula. I am lucky to be able to say that I went to school with Chris and I try to name drop him whenever I can. Reggie has become an internationally renowned comedian and musician. He has also been working as the band leader for the CBS Late Show with James Corden. According the the press release from Logjam Presents, "Reggie has been using his formidable voice, looping pedals, and his vast imagination, Watts blurs the lines between music and comedy, wowing his audiences with performances that are 100% improvised."
Chris Fairbanks continues to have ties with Missoula and the skateboard community. He has designed skateboards and t-shirts locally for Board of Missoula. Chris also co-hosts a very successful podcast with Karen Kilgariff, called "Do You Need A Ride" that can be found on multiple platforms. For the past two decades Chris has been performing standup across the U.S. Chris has recently been a guest locally on the "Shred List" hosted by Chris Bacon on our station Alt 95.7 Saturdays at noon.
So get your tickets and get ready for an amazing night of comedy at the Wilma on December 22nd from Logjampresents.
