Montana holds so many unique wonders of the world. From Glacier National Park to Yellowstone we are incredibly lucky. Now, a season-favorite destination is open for Summer.

Did you ever really grow up in Montana if you never took a field trip to the Lewis and Clark Caverns? This is one of my absolute favorite, one-of-a-kind Montana destinations, and as of today, they are open for the Summer season.

The Lewis and Clark Caverns is one of the largest known limestone caverns in the Northwest and tours are open from May 1st - September 30th. This can be first come/served, you can rock a reservation online, or call 1-8555-922-6768. Tickets are pretty affordable. Just $15 for an adult ticket.

There are many different visitor options from the Classic Cave tour (it's a bit harder, but totally worth it) to the easy Paradise Tour. They even offer tent or RV camping with all the amenities.

This is honestly a great trip, especially for the family or anyone taking a tour through Montana. The only reason I Know the difference between Stalagtite and Stalactite is because of the awesome tour guide.

The Caverns are fairly easy to get to. Located just outside of Whitehall (25 Lewis and Clark Caverns Rd. Whitehall, MT 59759). It promises to be a memorable trip. As always, please respect all the rules and regulations so people can visit the park for years to come!

Oh, don't be afraid of the dark, bats, or beaver slide. Trust me, it will all make sense when you visit.
