You know that feeling you get when the lights go down right before the headlining act takes the stage? The feeling of anticipation and excitement. The feeling you needed so much that you paid to buy a ticket and experience it. That feeling is all thanks to dozens of people behind the scenes who make concerts and live events happen.

A new online course has emerged with Rocky Mountain Rigging. An online course where people can learn everything from how to become a stagehand to how to be a production assistant on a film set.

Stagehands are the lifeblood of a proper concert experience. They are the ones making the light show happen. Making sure you can hear every note. They build the concert from the ground up.

Now through Monday 8/19 you can register to take the course for $150.

According to the Media Training Center website

Montana needs over 200 trained stage hands this year to support our growing music scene. This course is designed to equip learners with the foundational skills and practical knowledge needed to thrive as a stagehand.  Normally, $300 but $150 Until August 19th.

The course costs $150. But don't let that discourage you from learning. The tuition to take the course is a small price to pay. The first 20 students to graduate and complete 4 shifts working the upcoming Pearl Jam and Pink concerts will be reimbursed for their tuition as well as great pay. Starting pay is $21/ hour.
