Some people are still recovering from the Super Bowl. Some have already found themselves slipping into depression due to the lack of football. Thankfully there is hope for even more football. Soon the USFL will be hitting the gridiron for some spring football. Kicking off games on April 15th and playing through much of June. We are also getting excited about the rebirth of the XFL league. This means EVEN MORE football to tide you over until Fall.

What is the XFL?

According to Wikipedia

The XFL is a professional American football minor league consisting of eight teams located across the United States in mid-sized to major markets served by at least one other major professional sports team. Seasons run from February to May, with each team playing a ten-game regular season, and four progressing to the playoffs to crown a season champion.

It looks like we have a couple of former Bobcats and a Griz that are going to be part of the 2023 XFL season. Giving you even more reasons to watch and to root for one or more of the 10 teams playing this season.

According to 406 Sports

Ex-Montana State wide receiver Travis Jonsen and ex-Montana defensive back Gavin Robertson are both on the San Antonio Brahmas' roster, while former MSU receiver Kevin Kassis is with the Seattle Sea Dragons. Eight other former Big Sky Conference players are also on XFL rosters, according to the Big Sky.

Fans of the XFl will be excited to know that The Seattle Sea Dragons are scheduled to play a home game TONIGHT (2/23/23) versus the St. Louis Battlehawks.
