We're off and running in the Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein's Team Name Game Open - Missoula's favorite trivia.

We test our listeners and University of Montana employees on how well they know their college mascots.

The first year of The Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein on KGRZ and wherever you get your podcasts has been a blast.

I've gotten the privilege to talk to some of the biggest names in Montana sports, but my favorite addition has been the "Team Name Game."

If you haven't listened to The Daily Drive's Team Name Game segment, I suggest you do. Here are 4 recent games.

The Team Name Game is simple trivia. All there is to it is guessing the team names of sports teams.

Montana........ GRIZZLIES

Montana State.... BOBCATS.

So on and so forth.

Contestants were asked the team name of 10 teams (2 professional and 8 collegiate). The college teams section starts with power 4 conferences and makes its way through mid-majors and smaller division 1 schools.

We quizzed 20 contestants, with the top 16 making the Team Name Game Open tournament field. The bracket features Griz coaches, Griz marketing, local media and Daily Drive fans.
