Howdy, Scott Van Pelt and Stanford Steve! Thanks for the shoutout on Monday night's (12/9) edition of Bad Beats on ESPN's Sportscenter.

Or maybe no thank you for placing us on Bad Beats? Either way, we got national recognition... kind of cool... no? Yes?

On last night's edition of SportsCenter live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas after Monday Night Football between the Dallas Cowboys & Cincinnati Bengals, Scott Van Pelt did his typical "Bad Beats" segment. For those unfamiliar, Bad Beats is a segment that SVP does on his show that highlights unfortunate sports wagers that miss in heartbreaking fashion.

And this week the Montana Grizzlies were involved in one of those bad beats. South Dakota State was favored by 22.5 and well on their way to covering while up 32 points with 9:45 left. The Grizzlies offense didn't score a touchdown for the first three quarters and change, but the offense sprung alive to score two touchdowns in the final quarter to cover the 22.5. The last touchdown came in the final two minutes to REALLY break the hearts of SDSU bettors.

Why is there no Christmas? Cuz daddy had South Dakota State - Scott Van Pelt

I got a chuckle out of Stanford Steve asked SVP "You ever been to Missoula?" And SVR responded with a quick, uninterested "Nope."

But Steve also called Missoula "Beautiful," so shoutout to Steve, who has shown love to Montana before.

By the way, the Voice of the Griz called this on Monday's Daily Drive With Ace Sauerwein, which you can listen to below.
