
A Pair of Montana Grizzlies Get Their NFL Shot
The NFL Draft took place last weekend, but unfortunately, the Montana Grizzlies were blanked over seven rounds.
But that doesn't mean the Griz won't have their shot at the NFL. Two Montana Grizzlies were signed either signed as an undrafted free agent or received an invite to rookie camp.
Michael Wortham, the Griz's reigning All-American, "do everything" star, was picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Kenzel Lawler was the second Grizzly picked up by an NFL squad after the draft. Lawler follows in the footsteps of former Griz Alex Gubner by earning a tryout with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The only Montana State Bobcat to sign with an NFL team is former fullback Rohan Jones. Jones finished his collegiate career with the Maine Black Bears after playing in Bozeman in 2024. Jones was picked up by the Los Angeles Rams.
