The Montana Grizzlies moved on in the FCS Playoffs with a 41-27 win over the Tennessee State Tigers at Washington-Grizzly Stadium last Saturday night. It was mostly sweet with just a hint of bitterness because that was the final game this season at Wa-Griz.

Even when Wa-Griz is only at about half-capacity, it's still a wildly loud environment that holds a special place in my heart.

Until next year, Wa-Griz.

Next year will not feature all-world returner Junior Bergen. Somehow the Billings legend did it again as he returned not one but two punt returns for touchdowns.

Number one:

Number two:

That was his 6th return for a touchdown in the playoffs. The moment is never too bright for Junior Bergen and Griz fans aren't the only ones impressed by Junior Bergen. Tennessee State Head Coach, former Heisman winner and NFL All-Pro Eddie George had some BIG praise for Bergen.

That had to be a special moment for Junior. A college football legend saying you're bound for the NFL is awesome. We hope to see Junior in a Grizzly uniform for a few more games beyond this Saturday. Montana plays #3 South Dakota State in a rematch from last year's FCS National Championship game this Saturday in Brookings at noon mountain time.
