My career began as a DJ in 1973 in Helena and I moved over to Missoula in 1976. My news career began in 1999 when I took over what was then called ‘The Morning News Express’ and I’ve been hosting the ‘Montana Morning News Show’ every weekday since then. I also co-host Talk Back with Nick Chrestenson. I’ve been married to the love of my life Lorna for over 40 years, and I have two adult children, Luke and Jenna. Jenna and my son-in-law David just celebrated their first wedding anniversary. In addition to my on-air duties, I own Peter Christian Communications, producing radio spots for stations around the country. I love playing drums whenever I can, and I even carry a pair of drumsticks in my car, in case I run across a random drum set! I’ve been honored by the Montana Broadcaster’s Association with first place awards 24 times since 2000, and I love my work!
