Ace Sauerwein Earns Two Major E.B. Craney Nominations

First off, I dislike writing about myself. It feels like a gross display of self-promotion and attention-seeking.

Heck, I don't feel comfortable when I get praise from listeners or friends or even my own mother. My mom will call me after a show or a game and tell me how great it was, and I try to brush it off. I'm grateful my mother is so supportive, but the compliments make me uneasy.

Anyway... Here's a big thank you to the Montana Broadcasters Association for nominating me as Play-by-Play Announcer of the Year and Sportscaster of the Year for the upcoming 2026 E.B. Craneys.

I love my jobs. Being the Voice of the Lady Griz has been the best job I've ever had, and there isn't a single game where I show up wishing I wasn't going to "work." It's an honor, and I cherish every second of being a small part of such a legendary program.

Hosting The Daily Drive with Ace Sauerwein on KGRZ has been a blast as well. We started the show two years ago, and it's been a great ride. The show won last year's Radio Program of the Year at the 2025 E.B. Craney Awards, and I've been spoiled with the opportunity to interview so many great guests.
