With the NFL releasing its schedule, I compiled a list of 7 NFL Games Montanans should attend this season.

It features games consisting of former Montana Grizzlies and Montana State Bobcats with a few twists.

San Francisco 49ers @ Las Vegas Raiders (NFL Preseason Week 2, Date TBD)

I wouldn't suggest a preseason game most of the time, but the Raiders-49ers preseason tune-up should feature former Grizzly Junior Bergen and former Bobcat Tommy Mellott getting reps against one another's teams. Ahhh, just like the good old days.

Minnesota Vikings @ Los Angeles Chargers (Thursday, October 23)

Fly into LA to catch the Chargers play the Vikings on Thursday before the Montana Grizzlies play at Sacramento State on Saturday, October 25. Make the 6-hour LA: SAC drive and make it a hell of a weekend.

Tennessee Titans @ Arizona Cardinals (Sunday, October 5th)

Ok, Titans-Cardinals may not be the most entertaining of games, but the scheduling works out when the Cats play Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. Montana State and NAU square up the day before, so you can catch a doubleheader in Flagstaff & Glendale on Oct. 4 & 5. Plus, you'll see Cam Ward play for Tennessee.

Atlanta Falcons @ San Francisco 49ers (Sunday, October 19)

Cats fans, this will be the closest game you can catch former MSU linebacker Troy Andersen in action. His Falcons travel to the Bay Area on Sunday Night Football against the 49ers. Hopefully, Billings native Junior Bergen makes the active roster.

Houston Texans @ Seattle Seahawks (Monday, October 20)

The Seahawks have had Grizzlies (Patrick O'Connell) and Bobcats (Ty Okada) on their team the last few seasons. Hopefully, they'll be back this year. Catch the Seahawks on a Monday night (you know that CenturyLink will be loud) against CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Green Bay Packers (Monday, November 10th)

I'm biased as a Packers fan, but Lambeau Field is the best NFL experience. It seems like there are a good number of Packers fans in Montana, so scratch Lambeau off your bucket list when the Packers play the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
