The Glacier Wolfpack soccer program would be in town Tuesday night to play the Sentinel Spartans for a make up a game that was rescheduled from early September, and Glacier would come away with a 5-2 win.
Glacier would dominate play right out of the gate, putting pressure on the Spartan defense and controlling the ball. The Spartans held off the Wolfpack attack until the two minute stop page time at the end of the half when Glacier scored. The two teams would finish the break with Glacier leading Sentinel 1-0 and the Wolfpack would get back to work putting the ball in the back of the net in the opening minutes of the second half to take a 2-0 lead.
The Spartans would not get on the board until mid- way through the second half when Ben Larson scored off a penalty kick after the whistle was blown in the goalie box to make it 3-1 Glacier. The Wolfpack poured on their remaining points, with the final point coming off Rohit Tappeta benefiting off a rebound. Sentinel would pick up their final point with Wyatt keys scoring off a jail break in the final minutes of the game.
