Decuire Recognized By His Peers

Montana Grizzly head basketball coach Travis DeCuire was named the 2017-2018 District 6 Coach Of the Year by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The nominees are voted on by college coaches from across the United States.

This is the second recognition for his work this season as DeCuire earned the Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year earlier this month. The Griz alum led Montana to a 26-8 record that found Montana in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the 26 wins is third in school history. DeCuire’s Grizzlies went on a 13 win streak, seven of which were home victories, finishing the season perfect in front of their home crowd.
